Blackstairs Film Society

The Blackstairs Film Society is currently closed for the summer and will re-open again in September for a new season of films.

The 2011 season showed some great golden oldies like "Some Like It Hot" directed by Billy Wilder and starring Marilyn Monroe and some great new cutting edge films like The Maid Directed by Sebastian Silva, The Illusionist
Directed by Sylvian Chomet and The Ballroom
Directed byLais Bodanzky.

Please note that new members are always welcome so why not email us if you are interested in joining the film society for the new season? It is a great way to meet new people and experience interesting and different films that are generally not available in mainstream cinemas.

Membership Details

Only €40 per season of 9 films

For that members can bring guests with a nightly membership of only 1 euro and an entry fee of 6 euro
